Christmas Nativity Plays Continue

We have now completed the year 1&2 Nativity and the Nursery & Reception performances. Well done to all the children and staff involved. I must also thank parents for their understanding regarding tickets and limitations of the school hall.

Carol Concert

We now look forward to the year 3 & 4 Carol Concert next week. We have two performances on Tuesday 15th December. The first performance is at 2.00pm. We will walk the children up to church. Parents are welcome with no restriction on tickets. Parents can take children home directly from the church. If children have no parents at the concert they will be walked back to school. No children will be able to go home unaccompanied direct from the church.

The second performance is at 6.00pm. Children will need to arrive before 5.45pm. All children must attend in the evening. Parents are most welcome to attend the Carol Concert. If you are not able to do so please collect children at approximately 6.45.

Christmas Dinner

Christmas dinner is on Wednesday 16th December.

School Choir at Priory Academy

I would like to commend the Phase 2 School Choir for their performance at The Priory Academy on Friday 4th December. Their performance, lead by Mr Hylton, Mrs Cooper and Mr Richards, was wonderful. There will be another opportunity to hear their repertoire at the Carol Concert on Tuesday 15th.

Christmas Holidays and PD Days

Children will break up on Friday 18th December. Teachers will return on Monday 4th January for a PD Day. Children will start back on Tuesday 5th January.

Year 5 Arthog Trip

A reminder we need all the consent forms for the year 5 Arthog trip by Monday 14th December at the latest. If any parents have any questions about the trip please contact Mr Tyas at school.

Attendance and Late Arrivals at School

We have been aware that over the last few weeks we have an increasing number of children arriving late for school. It is crucial that children are ready to go in school at 8.45am. There are vital learning opportunities with early work, morning maths and grammar checks. Please ensure your children are ready to start work on time.
