St George’s Everyone Matters, Everyone Achieves

On every school sweat shirt and letterhead our school motto state clearly. ’Everyone Matters, Everyone Achieves.’ ‘Everyone’, includes ALL children and parents; whatever their country of origin, whatever their religion, whatever their political opinions. At St George’s we will continue to stand by our principles of making sure ALL children achieve across a wide curriculum and we will continue to work together towards that goal.

Message from Local CSO-PACT meeting

PACT meetings are Partners and Communities Together meetings whereby Police, council and local housing agencies are all together at one open meeting where members of the public can attend and voice their issues.

There is a PACT Surgery at the Parish Rooms in St Georges on Monday 18th July at 19:00. Parents and local resident are welcome.

St George’s Staying Open

There is a day of industrial action by the teachers union, the NUT, on Tuesday 5th July. Please note this will not affect St George’s and school will be open as usual on that day.

Dance Group Performing- good luck to the ‘Dance Dynamic’ group who are performing at Silverstone Race Track on the 9th July. A number of children from school are members of this group.

Daily Run

We now have years 3,4, 5 & 6 involved in the ‘Daily Run’. If children have run every day they can come dressed down on a Friday. This will continue right through to the end of term. New arrangements will be put in place to continue the initiative in the new school year.
