Remembrance Week at St George’s
St George’s school will be supporting the Poppy Appeal again this year. Poppies and bracelets will be on sale from Friday. We are suggesting that if children wish to have a bracelet they donate £1. During next week bracelets supporting remembrance will be allowed in school. (We normally have a no bracelet rule) A minute silence will be held on 11th November throughout school.

School Charity Work.
We have come to the end of the focus support for the MS Society charity. Throughout last year we have raised almost £1000 for this worthwhile cause. We will now move onto our charity work for 2016.2017. Our focus for this year will be the NSPCC. We will also be supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust. We will start with a Christmas Jumper Day on Wednesday 14th December in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. More details closer to the date.
A reminder that parents wanting places for reception children in September 2017 must apply through Telford and Wrekin’s on line system. Details are on the Telford and Wrekin website.
