Christmas Fair

A reminder that our annual Christmas Fair will be held next Friday 2nd December straight after school. We are asking for the usual donations for stalls; toys, bottles, books, Cakes etc. etc. Please send your items in from Monday next week. Fresh cakes can be bought in on Friday.

Please come along and support our school fundraiser. Father Christmas will also be attending and the choir will be singing in the large hall.

Christmas Nativity Plays- Tickets Arrangements

We are all looking forward to the Christmas Nativity Plays over the next few weeks. We start with year 5&6 on Monday and Tuesday next week. Due to fire regulations we need to be clear with the ticket policy. Only parents with tickets for the day can attend. There will be strictly only 2 tickets per child. Please check your ticket so you get the right day for the performance. For example, year 5&6 performance on Monday is year 5 parents; on Tuesday year 6 parents.

Unfortunately there will be no crèche available for younger siblings, please find alternative arrangements.

Daily Run

We will try and continue with the daily run in school. I will announce the next dressed down day for the New Year.

Information for the Year 5 Arthog Trip.

We held a meeting for parents for the Arthog trip in January last night. For those parents who did not attend we are sending the information home with children this evening. If any parents have concerns or need clarity on issues please contact Mr Tyas as school.

New Governor for St George’s

I am pleased to inform the school community we have a new governor at St George’s. The governing body have asked Mrs Bevan to be part of the reconstituted arrangements. Mrs Bevan has expertise in special educational needs, links to Little Dragons and is a parent of young children at school.

Thank you!

Mrs Collins would like to say a big ‘thank you’ to Mrs Tatton, Mrs Barde and the Year 6’s who helped plant our new trees today.
