Change on Uniform Supplier
Some parents may be aware that we have had some difficulties with our supplier of uniforms. We have therefore decided to change the firm that supplies St George’s uniforms. This will become active on 31st October 2016 so please do not order anything from this website before this date. Please take note of the following details to order school uniform:
Our new supplier is ‘Crested Schoolwear’, contact details to follow.
Ordering ‘on line’ will still be the preferred way to order uniform.
Prices are slightly higher due to FREE home delivery.
Prices are as follows:
PE T shirt £5.49
PE shorts £4.00
PE Bag £4.99
Book bag £3.50 (will be sold in school)
Crested Schoolwear will be visiting school to sell uniform 3 times a year: before Xmas break, before Easter break and before we break up for summer holidays. We will inform parents when this will be happening well in advance.
Book Fair in Old Library Area
We are holding a Book Fair in the old library during Parents’ Evening. The old library area is situated through the main hall and turn right towards year 4 and 5 classrooms.
Staffing changes after Half Term
Miss Picken has been working across a number of year groups so far this year. After half term she will focus on year 6. Alternative arrangements will be made for the days she spends in year 3, 4 & 5.
Mrs Tyas will be supporting a local school on a Tuesday next term. Again alternative teaching provision will be made for Tuesdays in her reception class.
Well Done to Wellington Amateurs U10 Footballers
We have been informed that Wellington Amateurs have been unbeaten this season. We have a number of boys from school playing in this team. Well done lads!!
No Adventure Play Area after School
Would parents please note that children are not allowed on the adventure play area before or after school as we have no staff supervision at that time.
Thank you to all the children who took part in the choir auditions with Mr Hylton and Miss Turner this week. We had over 70 children from years 3 to 6. The choirs will be chosen shortly. Please note everyone can go to Mrs Burnett’s ‘ Singing Club’ regardless of whether you are in the choir or not.
