New Chair of Governors at St George’s
On behalf of the school community I would like to thank Mr Stuart Harris for his service as chair of governors at St George’s C of E Primary School. Stuart has stepped down from the governing body after many years’ service. He has lead the governing body and contributed hugely to the success of St George’s Primary School. Headteachers rely very heavily on chairs of governors in the running of schools. Stuart has always provided positive and insightful support for myself and the rest of the staff. We wish him well as he moves on to other challenges.
Revd. Kevin Evans will take over the role of chair of governors. Kevin is an experienced chair of governors at other schools and is known to both staff and children through our partnership with St George’s church.

Choir Organisation this Year
Well done to all those children who were successful in their choir auditions. We will be running various choirs made up from Phase 1 & Phase 2, an ‘elite choir’ and a boys only choir. Singing Club will continue with Mrs Burnett at lunch time.
Look out for the choir performance at various events during the year.
