St George’s Celebration Event
There is an exciting St George’s Celebration event on Saturday 22nd April. The day start at 12.00 in the square with a St George’s knight on horseback. There is a wonderful dragon in the church made by the children at school with the help of an artist in residence. I am assured it is a friendly dragon and unlike the original story should get on very well with St George!
The various events are at St George’s church and will go on to 3.00pm. Please support this wonderful community event. Full details are on the school website.
Running Track Daily Run
Now we have the all-weather running track installed at school we will be returning to the daily run. Children can run any time during the school day from mornings, break time, lunchtime or after school. Children who run every day will be able to come to school ‘dressed down’ in non-uniform. The first of these days will be Friday 12th May.

I believe we were having trouble with the year 5 Arthog video from January playing from the school PE blog. The problem is now fixed and the video is available to view.

We held a whole school orienteering day on Wednesday this week. The children had a wonderful time navigating round the school orienteering course. Look out for updates on the PE blog.
