St George’s Sports Days This Week

Well done all the children from Nursery to Year 4 who have had their Sports Days this week. Congratulations to all the children who won events. I would also like to recognise all those children who find Sports Day a real challenge. Nobody gave up with all our children showing a great St George’s attitude.

We have year 5&6 Sports Day next Thursday when our year 6 children return from their secondary transfer days.

Artist in Residence and Story Teller in School

We have had an artist in residence in school this week. Working alongside the children, she has produced several murals that will go to decorate the school toilets. This follows up her work to create a huge Dragon and Phoenix to decorate the two main teaching blocks in school.

Alongside the artist we have had a professional story teller working with classes across the school. The children have been engrossed with his imaginative stories.
