SUMMER FAIR TONIGHT- 3.30PM ST GEORGE’S C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL

We will be starting the Summer fair with the school choirs performing in the quiet area outside the hall. Come and join us to listen to the children sing then enjoy the various events of the fair.

 

Well Done Dads

I would like to say a big well done and thankyou to all the reception dads (and others) who came in for Fathers’ Day reading with their children on Thursday. The atmosphere was wonderful.

 

Year 6 Trip to Arthog in September (Current Year 5 Children)

We are organising final numbers for the year 6 trip in September to Arthog Outdoor Centre in September. We are still waiting for a number of responses from parents. The permission letter is available from class teachers. Please complete this by Friday 23rd June. Payment plans are available up to Easter 2018.

Please note a £30 deposit will need to be paid before September.

The meeting to inform parents about all aspects of the trip is on Wednesday 12th July at 3.30pm in the school hall.

 

Swimming Opportunity

All our phase 2 children are swimming this term. You may wish to follow this up with private lessons. We have a link with a member of staff at school to Harvey-Bebbington Swimming lessons. Contact at harveybebbingtonswimming@gmail.com or ring 07891739905.

St George’s C of E Football Tournament

We had a huge number of boys and girls play in the football tournament at school this week. My thanks to all the staff who supported the event, in particular Mr Porteous who organised the competition. Check out the PE blog for coverage.
