Well Done to St George’s
The Minister of State for Schools, Mr Nick Gibb MP, has sent a letter of congratulations to St George’s C of E Primary School following last year’s SAT results. St George’s was in the top 3% of all schools across the country in terms of the progress our children made. The full letter has been placed on the school website for the school community to share.

Cross Country Trial-Friday 10th March
We are coming up to the Telford Cross Country League events around Easter. We are holding trials for all children on the morning of 10th March. Children will need PE kit and suitable shoes to run in. If the field is too wet, we will be racing around the school grounds. We will then choose up to twelve children in each team. There will be medals for the first three places and certificates for all those who have taken part. There are teams for boys and girls in year 3,4,5 & 6. Further details for those selected will be sent out to parents. Children who are keen to make the team, but cannot run on Friday 10th, will have other opportunities to gain a place in the team.
