St George's C of E Primary School

St George’s C of E Primary School and Children’s Centre is the largest Primary School with a nursery in Telford and Wrekin.

The school buildings consist of sixteen classrooms, a nursery classroom, ICT suite, two general purpose rooms, a music room, a library, a studio/hall and main hall, administration area and kitchen.

All classrooms have interactive white board facilities available for class teachers.

The school serves the community of St Georges in the N. E. of Telford. Within this new town, this is a well established community, still referred to by many as ‘The Village’. Consequently, our children are drawn from a catchment area that is quite diverse in its character.

St George’s C of E Primary is a controlled Church of England School, within the Parishes of St Georges and Priorslee. We have a close and active link with St George’s Church.3.jpg

The number on roll in the school during the 2014/2015 academic year will be approximately 530.

This number includes 60 children in the school nursery.

 

The school now has a growing Children’s Centre, with Little Dragons Child Care Centre offering all day child care on the school site. This development has further enhanced the school’s extended schools provision with breakfast club and after school provision.
